Reading manga like this makes me really wonder about the author's worldview. Do they really believe that any person would or should reconcile in a matter of minutes, despite one partner having left 2 years ago without properly explaining why and still not really explaining why after their reunion? Or is this their is this an idealized relationship they just throw on a page because they assume that cliches take in the cash? Was it maybe the editor who told the author to change things ups, thus creating this feeble relationship/story? It's upsetting to say the least, and many others agree that this story had potential but was ruined by the author's (or editor's influence and) inability to truly create a strong story.
