No, dominant does not default mean alpha. On the author's twitter she admits that they do not know whether to make Byul and alpha or an omega. There are to types of aphas and omegas. There are the dominant aplahs and Omegas, for example Dojin who is a dominant alpha; And there are recessive alphas and omegas where Hyesung is a recessive omega which is why he might have also gotten his omega symptoms later in his life compared to normal omegas. That is why when Hyesung first got pregnant with Byul, the doctor was going on about how it was a miracle because it was such a rare and unusual case of a dominant alpha pairing up with a recessive omega and getting pregnant. I guess in the next couple of chapters we will see what Byul inherited from his parents.

It's like your hell bent on believing that will be an Byul an alpha just because of the use of the word 'dominant', despite me and another comment explaining that there are two types of alphas and omegas being dominant and recessive.
