I really, really want to be wrong but hear me out. If you're right in assuming that HuanWen was worried that YuYang meant what he said more than a joke, and if what was said in the beginning of this manhwa about all those cliches that were going to happen is true...what if the cancer part applies to HuanWen? I mean, it would make sense why he wouldn't search for a life partner if he knew he didn't have much to live. I surely hope that's not the case! （/TДT)/
Anyway, that's all I wanted to say.
Can you recap by telling me what chapter it was when HuanWen talked about clichés in dating? Was it the time HuanWen and YuYang overheard the females in their class gossiping about the friends being a good couple? (I love that characters openly ship people LOL)
If HuanWen does have an illness, that's sad... :( Some people accept it and try to live to the fullest, but they don't actively seek a partner because they know they don't have much longer to live. They certainly don't want to leave someone widowed and for one more person to be sad about their death... Although, love can be very simple if you want to be with someone, and knowing they have a shorter lifespan can encourage both parties to cherish the time they have left together. Truthfully, whether someone has a fatal illness or not, no one is meant to live forever, and even healthy folks don't know when exactly they'll die. We should cherish the people around us when we can :))
But let's hope HuanWen doesn't have an illness, or else that will be tears and tears for us readers LOL.
Oh, dear me. I wasn't talking about clichés in dating. I was talking about the overused tropes in stories they mention in chapter 3...you know, memory loss etc. That's when the cancer was brought up. And even if it said something like that wouldn't happen, I really hope we weren't deceived. 'Cause if HuanWen is deadly ill I will cry rivers! ╥﹏╥
Let's hope HuanWen doesn't have cancer or any other deadly disease ;-------; Overused tropes can still hurt us LOL!! I want HuanWen to meet someone he's in love with and be happy with that person, whether he dies or not (▰˘◡˘▰)
UNCLE PAN AND THE NEW YOUNG HOTTIE??! Sign me up!! I have a thing for age gaps, and I have a feeling this will melt my heart. (▰˘◡˘▰) I love that Uncle Pan sets his conditions with this young stranger, by telling the latter to say thanks and wash the dishes. It's really unsafe to get drunk alone, outside, and not know where you are... That young person is lucky he encountered Uncle Pan, and Uncle Pan didn't take advantage of our new character. And I like seeing Uncle Pan relaxed with this new cutie; maybe we'll see Uncle Pan's youthful side too :))
Now... What was HuanWen referring to on page 14 when he thought, "Could it be that he..."?? Don't tell me YuYang's joke was right about HuanWen having a terrible disease that our upperclassman can't talk about. ╥﹏╥ It's perfectly okay to be single and content, but I would also love to see HuanWen in a romantic relationship where he loves and is loved in return. <33 Overall, it was great to see YuYang and HuanWen's relationship; the two friends really get along. :)) It made me feel warm when YuYang said he would support HuanWen, no matter what our upperclassman's decision is.
I hope everything is okay with LiHuan's dad too.
