Just a thought

1. I have a story and characters design (They're ready in my opinion) but I don't want to decide anything without even knowing if I have a illustrator and if the webtoon is even gonna happen

2. I thought that if I ever found a person to draw my story I would go on webtoon (need to get more information about how it goes there, didn't before since I never thought I would actually succeed)

3.I want to do one for free 'cause money stress me but if the illustrator wants to go commorcial I'll consider it.

just gonna put it out there and say that no wants to do things for free, its not just one illustration,youre asking for a whole comic with who knows how many chapters that would take a lot of time and effort. youre asking for a lot. and if you cant afford to pay, well, you better start practicing your art skills.

not to mention most experienced artists charge 175-250$ per page.

It's just something that I want to do, more like a project if you konw what I mean. Like I said it depends on the illustrator. I could even just do a story a give it to someone tbh. I just want to write something, if there's no one with the same mindset then so be it. Remember it's just a thought, I didn't even think anyone was intrested since I asked totally out of the blue randomly but thx for answering me, you may not care but that was nice of you

Same here. I like to write/design stories, but can't really draw something that readers would enjoy ┗( T﹏T )┛
My sister and I used to collaborate, she would draw and I would direct, but even that stopped working eventually. We grew up, and she began payment plans (⊙…⊙ ).

I'm going stick figure style now.

well if you really want to get down the the nitty gritty, im pretty certain they would want a webtoon style/ scrolling style of manga. professionals usually charge per panel. so it doesnt really matter how fast you finish a page, its how much panels you draw for each episode. most professional webtoons have 40-70+ panels and most artist charge maybe 10-50 bucks per panel and that may or may not only be for coloring. prices have everything to do with how skilled the artists are. even if it just black and white, digital art it can still range from 100-500 from a professional. art isnt cheap and its time consuming. bottom line is the op doesnt understand that and expects artists to give them their time without compensation which is pretty ignorant.
