I totally disagree! Alex wasn't nice to DG, but he wasn't actively abusive. [emotionally detached and secretive, but it makes sense if youre not open about your sexuality like DG and Chanwoo] There were also plenty of times before their fight that showed that Alex at least LIKED DG even if Alex didn't realize it was potentially love. I'd say their relationship definitely grew even if it wasn't into that of a real relationship. DG really did fuck up Alex's broadcast, his safe place where he felt comfortable expressing his sexuality in a sense, but DG's thoughts leading up to that night and Alex's [understandable] overreaction is what makes me confident that if DG is willing to get back with Alex: I'm for it. DG has proven to me he's not some dumb/blind sappy uke, he respects himself enough to break things off with Alex in the first place. If DG is going to forgive Alex, then I'm willing to believe Alex was good enough and can change!
It's totally fine to disagree with what I said. But I also can't agree with what you're saying. No he wasn't nice to him hardly at all abd he was actively abusive. Mentally, physically and emotionally. DG was clear and upfront about his feelings. If Alex had any sort or clarity he would have stomped those right from the beginning. Alex knew what kind of state he was in.
Yeah, DG did mess up his broadcast, but he was able to fix it no problems. You can bounce back from that. You cant bounce back from emotional, mental, and physical hurt.
I personally believe that Alex needs to stay away and let DG heal. Thats all.
I definitely agree with you about the whole "staying away" thing. I definitely think that his kinda, stalker-ish stuff in recent chapters isn't healthy for either DG or Alex.
However, I feel like Alex definitely WAS upfront where he was like, "we're just gonna be friends with benefits." He didn't really bait DG with the idea that they could be in a relationship [hence why he put distance between them at school] DG was just persistent. But what makes me think that Alex actually liked DG was that he started getting lenient about that leading up to their ultimate fight. I definitely agree that in the real world, its an overall dick move to know someone is hoping for more and not cut things clean, but I really don't think Alex was in that position of knowing. I think part of the beginning of the story leading up to DG's outburst on the broadcast was that he had been bottling up his real feelings for a long time.
Just leave Alex. Scat! Shoo!
