Staring at the mom's picture, and was despondent and just going through the motions of life until the one thing keeping him going, the mc decided that he is leaving the house and the uncle.
Uncle snaps.
If the kid was more aware of things, I think this could have been headed off by him telling the uncle to go to a therapist after the mom died. Now months/years later the uncle is completely out of it. There was no way he was sane.
I'm shocked he still had a job.
Uncle has some serious issues! It's not incest (Uncle was his mom's lover). I just want to cry for him...
