Sometimes I think the story lacks diesels point of view. It's good to see how he thinks about Ein and his words but I'd like to know what he thinks of how his relationship with Yanek turned out to be. What does he think of all these fights Yanek got him into?
And maybe the fact that Diesel took off the necklace and seemed to be thinking about something means he started to reflect on his relationship and position? Or maybe I'm digging too deep XD
But I still think that the necklace is very important, 'cause it's in the second season's title. I have a theory why, but I'll just see how the story will progress.

I agree, altho I think that is adding the mystery right now.. Hopefully we will know at the conclusion of the flashback.. This author is very good so I do think it's intentional to keep a wall between us and Diesel's thoughts for now.

Yeah, you might be right. Ive just thought that Diesel already expressed his opinion in chapter 19, saying Yanek could have been the end of him.

But aren't you feeling there is so much more Diesel is thinking right now in this flashback about both men and the situation he is in? I thought that's what you meant originally..

Yes, that's what I meant :) his words in chapter 19 are more like a conclusion than a real track of how he felt and thought at that time.
