It might not be the best childhood but in this life she is learning to have friends, knowing that her father and a lot of people always got her back and experiencing and learning things that she actually love. She is not even putting that much effort to avoid the prince because she knows that the Jieun girl would appear in her world, fall in love with the prince, take the empress title from her and Aristia would have the life she wants. Free from the prince and becoming her life goal, a knight.
For all the things MC has experienced in the past -- she remains a naive girl to the point that it has become unpleasant to read. For god sake, learn how to stand up for yourself, you sad depressing pest. How about reading from other going back in time series like Doctor Elise for good measure.
