Well, my mom is a teacher at some local international Islamic uni and she says there are different mazhabs for different countries. Just like Christianity which has something called the 'protestants' who still worship the same god even though it has different views on things. There are other Christian houses (mazhabs) that are not protestants and is viewing on how things should be done differently as well.
Islam also has that but it is divided on countries there are also some countries that share the same views.
Like there are some religion that are following the teachings of other prophets but still is worshipping Allah. So its not strange to have diffrent ways amd opinions on how islam says we have to do things. Its just effected by the time islam was spread to your country and by who (=・ω・=)
