I found it quite appealing
I’ve seen ppl bitching about someone putting a do not read tag on mangas but when I look it’s not there. Maybe they feel bad and take it down. I use tags for myself so i can easily find manga that might not fit my list but want to find again, or to warn myself against reading it. it would never occur to me someone would be upset by a tag I put up. I don’t think I’ve ever put up “do not read” bc I’d usually say something more descriptive. And there are very few manga I’m totally against ever reading. The exceptions being sick shota crap. I’d slap a do not ever read tag on that super fast to prevent myself from ever accidentally reading it. Fortunately I don’t come across to many of those on Mangago. That’s more the kind of thing you’d find on mrm. Idk i feel like it’s could be someone tagging it for themselves instead of how ppl seem to be taking it which is someone trying to dissuade others from reading it
The “do not read” tag was put up when a few minutes after the manga got put up and I put my key words on “less then” so if I had accidentally offended you in some way I’m sorry if not I kinda agree to what you said. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I’m not offended at all. It was just a thought that occured to me that maybe there was a different intention behind the tag and by sharing another perspective maybe ppl who were upset might feel less upset. I can get triggered as much by the next person when I come across something that feels judgmental or otherwise asinine. I’m a bit of a peacemaker as well so there that. I’m kind of all about encouraging sharing of perspectives in order to foster kinder discourse. My only caveat to that is in cases of misogyny, bigotry, etc., I don’t want to hear or understand bigots, homophobes and misogynists. It’s stressful and depressing so my ability to listen to a differing opinion stops there. Anyways that was all. No shade intended. I prob should have used an emoji or something.
