you know what jiwon is not a killer for him not to be forgiven and given a second chance... he was remorseful and he truly love dg.. thats why there are saying like 'you never know the worth if it's gone'. and 'love is sweeter the second time around'.. i think anyone is entitled to feel love... just because you we're once a jerk doesn't mean you you'll always be a jerk... and in his past it wasn't even portrayed that jiwon is a total jerk... and I'm just saying that you can't judge jiwon because you saw his bad side.. you should also see the goodness in a person which isn't really seen by most people because they judge right then because they have done bad once..
Truthfully though, so far he has no redeeming qualities except he is hot, which is the premise that stems the idea that he should be forgiven. He is even actively stalking DG not even in that coincidental "You're here, I am here" type way but like a complete serial killer waiting in bushes and stuff. DG dove in heart first from the get go and gave it his all, Jiwon has been pinning for less than 4 chapters and has done nothing worth taking back in all honesty. A majority if not all of the readers of this manhwa are enamored by a hotly drawn character enough to overlook his every single flaw with the excuse of a troubled childhood and sheer vanity. Of course this is fiction so any realistic approach to unpacking Jiwon's character development and motivation is ignored as again the ready excuse that he is not real, the unfortunate thing there are real life inspirations that I'm sure Jiwon has been modeled after that are allowed the same excuse for their behavior because they are attractive and troubled. I mean if we have say his name Brock Allen Turner be set free after raping a women behind a dumpster with even witnesses simply because he was a potential olympic swimmer with a future ahead of him that would ruined with his jailing him, I've lost all hope of convincing people of why Jiwon and DG make no sense together yet they do as an example of simply how fucked society is to the core in our rational. While a fictional rapist (Jiwon) vs a real rapist (Turner) is maybe not the same magnitude I'm tired of this apologist narrative of people deserve a second chance because every one has problems bullshit. NO one is responsible for you live your life and actions you take in said life, life isn't fair enough to rewards every one a second chance and especially not because after as mentioned before after 4 chapters a character discovers they're capable of love after physical and emotionally abusing their fwb for over 40 chapters to apparent cancel out any damage with a payoff of being rewarded. Honestly stories like this are pure toxic and why people root for one character to find happiness within all this truly speaks of the mindset of its audience. Truthfully I hold on to read about Chanwoo and MD because compared to Jiwon and DG they're practically a 25 year long healthy loving marriage in how even with BDSM there's actual respect and honesty.
