NOT only you haha~ tbh I also became like that for reading too many yaoi mangas and everytime i read some shoujos I always ship the 2 guys instead of the female MC haha... Well shoujo manga nowadays is so boring to read,,, same plot, predictable outcome, annoying female MC, ... unlike the shoujo mangas before （/TДT)/ (that's why I switch to yaoi)

Oh same here! I end up reading yaoi bc shoujo got me to a point where it was painful to read and see how stupid the female mc is written ALL the damn time!! never read BL before and I couldn't give up my love and passion for manga and switched the genre.. so yeah that was how I get here. And I love how equal and easy going the couples in BL are..well mostly..unlike shoujo -.-

Tbh in most stories the ukes seems like thise women from the shoujo genre drawn as males. I've never met gay people who act this way even though BL is far away from rl..I can't be the only one feeling this way? right?

Well there are some stories like that.. But what really interest me is them having same sex relationship... Cuz, that's the thing that really hit me hard when i read BL. SOmetimes i really cried hard when reading cuz i feel sympathetic towards the characters especially their struggles in the society...

I have many gay friends in rl life tho.. but most of the just have these unrequited love.. IT's a sad thing ╥﹏╥

Yea I also don’t like it as much. Unless I know it’s good and I know the manga has good characters then I’m willing to read it. I don’t like the ones where the girl is so naïve and basically look like she’s confused all the time. I prefer more mature manga when it comes to heterosexual relationships (or at lest realistic). So I get ya
