it depends on the stalker´ type, I mean there are a lot of types of stalkers. Some are really crazy, others not so much
Well I’m ugly as hell and barely talk, so I’ll be flattered by the poor soul who even decided to look my way.
On a serious note, in manga with strange characters/pshycological feel to it., I think like authors rush it too much because they want to get down to the explicit scenes. Stalking then somehow make the other character love them. This is why I love (and literally everyone else) harada because she knows how to balance everything out.
