2 things, first I think they made the decision to have the uke realize his feelings prior to sex to prevent it from being rape. Don't know what would have happened if he had protested, but he welcomed it instead so it's a moot point.
Second, "no one gives a shit about people being murdered," because it's barely related to the plot. We only see that because it is literally the uke's job to investigate murders.

God, I feel this comment so much. All of those cliches prevented me from even finishing the manga. I found this manga in a list of “strong ukes”. Suffice it to say that...I didn’t see the “strong” anywhere. Because he knew judo and could throw the seme around everyone in a while? Sure, okay.
- Absolutely coincidental meeting after years and then "You were my first love so let me rape you" cliche.
- Uke getting raped but still "ahh why do I feel so good? Maybe I love him too" cliche.
- Uke, way too dumb to be in his profession cliche. (He's a detective and knows judo lol? ╮(￣▽￣)╭ )
- Uke gets kidnapped and Seme saves the day cliche.
- People getting murdered but no one's giving a shit 'cause they aren't major characters cliche.
What did I expect in the first place tbh?
Maybe some good plot because the artwork was breathtakingly gorgeous. Kudos to the author for that.
