yeah this manga should copy Inuyasha in that aspect.
I have a feeling that, that is where the book is heading. The water god sent her to her home world to protect her but kept her before to monopolize her and for his entertainment. Now that his feelings are generally established/realized I have a feeling that he’ll listen to her more often and be less controlling. I’m sure at this point if it’s possible then he’ll probably allow her to go back and fourth. Maybe she had the power within herself to travel through worlds to begin with? I can’t remember how she was sent to the past before when she was a kid but I don’t think it was through the water god, was it?
