I don't know ... i totally agree with you ... if this happened in real life i would hate the criminal with all my herat and i would want him to pay about his crimes... but this is fiction ... and samgwoo has won our heart a little bit so... i can't decide what i really want for him ... do i want him to die ... do i want him to get arrested or do i want him to be with bum (happy if possible ) but i know this won't be how it ends ... and don't know what to choose either
I agree with you about sangwoo but I don't really think bum deserves to die. He is so deep in stockholm syndrome that he doesn't know up from down. He should at least get thrown in prison for life or maybe a psyche ward where he can't be harmed or harm others anymore.
Nobody has won my heart in this series tho lol. I'm pretty sure I want both of them to die. Both are psychological patients and either they need help (I wonder if they are still worth of receving help after taking away so many lives) or they need to die. Obviously it doesn't matter what I want because at the end of the day, it all depends on the author's decision. But you'know, we still give opinions even though it's pointless (￣∇￣")
And to be honest, from that point of view, this fiction is an absolute success (so far). It was good enough to make me feel this way. If we hate a character, that means the author wanted us to feel that way toward the person and wrote the character that way herself. So I gotta say none of her efforts went in vain.
True. But honestly, if someone close to me had been killed, and I find out another person was aware of the muder and also knew who the murderer was but still kept quiet even after having chances, I'd hate him just as much and would want him to die as well.

Pretty sure everyone wouldn't feel the same way toward the one who kept quiet 'bout the murder, but god I'd go nuts. I wouldn't care what the witness's psychological condition was either. I'm not that strong to consider that far.

I know many people might sympathy him because of his fucked up past (also he's the main character) but just so you know, no matter how many shitty experiences you've gone through in your life, that just doesn't give you any right to commit crime or kill human beings. Only one's family or close ones will understand how it feels to lose someone forever. It just haunts you down all your life. If you had lost your father/mother or sister, if they got ruthlessly murdered or vanished somewhere for the rest of their life, and then you finds out who's the cause behind it, believe me you woundn't want to know or give a single fuck 'bout what the criminal's perspective was or how shitty his past was. He'd just be a filthy criminal to you who took away someone close to your life.
Not only I want Sangwoo to die but also Bum as well, because he's just as psycho. Blinded in love, he also stayed quiet even after knowing and witnessing Sangwoo murdering people. He even had the chance to reveal everything to the police many times but, what did he do? Only if he had spoken the truth back then, all these murders afterwards could've been stopped. All these lives could've been saved. Goddamnit, just thinking bout it hurts my heart. When you stay quiet 'bout one's crime, that makes you just as criminal.
I know people might be bashing me after hating on both of the main characters of the series, but no matter how much shitty past author-san had given to both of them, their actions still would never be justified to me nor I'd ever sympathy them.
If they both wants to live together/die together, I want them to die together.
