Should i read this or watch the anime first?

uhh.. watch the donghua? im quite disappointed in the manhua.. but if you dont understand both the donghua and manhua, read the novel

So the animation came first before this? I've just discovered this series. I'm on episode 5 now and I like it. I wonder if it's better to read the comic first just like how it usually is in other adaptations.

i think it best for you to watch it, or just read the novel, you will be more understand about it

not really. the original story came from the novel.. even the manhua is leaving some parts from the novel.. the animation is good and they changed some parts but you'll still enjoy it.. whether you start watching or reading its fine since the animation,manhua and the novel have differences.. hope i helped you (￣∇￣")

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'm doing both now -- watching the donghua when I can't read the manhua. LOL. I'm just 10 chapters in but I can already see a lot of differences. I'll consider reading the novel too.
