Are you of legal age? You can try looking for a job if that's the case, maybe you can take a term off in order to work and save some money?
Or you can switch universities, or even careers, if the university you're in is too expensive you can search for another one, or you can apply for another career that's similar to the one you're studying now but cheaper.
The most important thing is that you talk with your parents and think for yourself about this options, I hope you can overcome this situation!! And I'm sorry about your dad.
I'm sorry to hear that. But you should value yourself more. Do you feel bad about taking your parents money? Get a job. Do you feel dumb? Study something or look up something you're interested in or want to get to know more of. It's okay to have a bad day, a worst day even, but don't stay in that mood. If you feel bad or anything like that, the best way to get rid of it, is to come in action. If not, then you keep hanging in that bad feeling. I know it sounds easier than it is. But every little action/step you make, is a step you choose to make to feel good. Good luck!
Talk about it with your dad.
Mine had savings specifically for me to go to university so I don't need to pay my scholar fees. Thus, I'm concentrating on passing my classes and graduate as soon as possible.
If you want to go to college, there are a few solutions for you like
- Work part time while going to school.
- Ask a loan from a bank.
-Take a year off to work and save money to pay for your fees.
Talk to your dad first, though.
I don't know if I should keep studying in college, this year the prize is pretty high and my dad just told my mom he lost one eye (he can't see of one eye) so he doesn't know if he could keep working, he is pretty old. I feel like trash that I'm just taking their money, I feel so sad and dumb, I feel that I don't deserve anything. I wanna disappear
