So yea, from that point i thought the uke was quite annoying and i felt really bad for the seme.
I mean, why getting so depressed when your crush says he likes you back but dont want to goout yet. If someone understands you are welcome to explain but i just see it as a mistake from.the author. It didnt make sense to me
I honestly get this.
But during the earlier and actually most of the chapters of BJ Alex and Love Is An Illusion you have to admit the semes were assholes...though the ukes had their own flaws, you have to admit the semes actions were pretty bad, so I can understand why people don't like them.
On the other hand, in this manga, the seme isn't nearly as bad as the other two you've mentioned, so it's not really that strong of a comparison.
uhhh lemme just say: it's because the mc in this story is extremely written. Don't get me wrong, I like BJ alex and I follow it regularly..... but the reasoning for alex's behaviour is given NOWHERE the amount of depth and attention that Raising a Bat has. The way things were executed in this story makes us truly dive into the mc's psychology and understand him from start to finish. BJ alex just doesn't do that.
And that's probably why~ BJ alex is just a fun, mindless sort of read. It's entertaining and all, but not something to compare to Raising a Bat. That's my opinion lol.
On the contrary, if you don’t understand Alex’s reasoning it’s because you don’t agree with him because it’s quite simple. Alex asked to be sex friends and MG agreed then Alex noticed DG seemed to like him so he acted mean to not give fake hope to DG.
On the other side, the MC in this story slept with a co-worker the same day he was confessed by his love only because his love didnt want to date yet. Oh and the MC ain’t gay to begin with. Also during the time he was in a relationship with his co-worker he was secure about his relationship and didnt act cold. But then when he is with the vampire it changes...
The actions of the characters in BJ alex made sense, the ones of the MC in this one didn’t
Huh. Well, I guess they were both good webtoons, and they both had their own strengths and weaknesses. Raising a Bat focused on psychology, BJ Alex focused on the drama.
And to be perfectly honest, sometimes, the actions of a character who's in love doesn't always make sense. I saw this in both stories.
Yea he misunderstood in a way but if your crush confess to you, you wont go lose your virginity with another dude the same day. And the whole story is based on the action because after that he regret it, and then the dude breaks up with him so he is reminded of his past + he thinks he doesnt deserve the vampire because he slept with the dude.
The MC kissed the vampire then ran,the vampire catched up to him and said : i like youbut we can’t date now. Then the MC ran away still and went to his coworker and slept with him. And i think it’s stupid to base the story on a action that didnt make sense because it did hurt the vampire so much and also the MC and we don’t even know why.... it’s as if the MC in a story is in love and married, and as readers we know his thoughts and suddenly he starts cheating and it’s not explained
But if the vampire said "I like you, but we can't date now." MC probably took it as a rejection, and wanted to find solace in another relationship.
The reason the story was based off of that was probably because the author wanted to add more drama, which it did. And obviously, since the MC is supposed be with the vampire, the author split up the MC and the real cheating bastard to create even more drama. All the while exploring into the psychology of the characters. I dunno. It seemed ok to base the story off of that in my opinion, since it was basically kinda the climax of the story.
Wasn't it like that the vampire rejected him? And I think from the MCs nature he looked at it as a sign to complete back off ,that's why he slept with the blonde dude.
Well but the characters in the other manwhas you mentioned are more away from reality I feel. Like their actions, jealousy and just everything they do regards their love interest is nothing a person would behave in real life. But the Mcs mistakes and distrust felt more real even his sidetrack to the blond, cause it wasn't any love behind it ,but a need to get over the feeling of being rejected
I think it's funny how there so much more hate on BJ Alex and Love is An Illusion but here people understand the MC.
Which is sad because i understoof the characters in the stories i mentionned but this time i just couldn't. I mean the lack of trust it's normal due to his backstory but sleeping with the coworker the night both main chacters confessed to eachother....that is something i just couldn't understand and then a big part of the story is based
