i enjoy most manga so much, and the second they toss rape in, I tend to drop it, delete any saved pics from it, and just get annoyed. it's not necessary. Yaoi is great on it's own.
Yes, exactly. A good romantic story doesn't need there to be sexual assault or rape between the main couple. A good story that has rape treats it exactly as such while an amateur one will overlook it as a problem, ignoring the moral implications in doing so.
