this mangaka has always drawn their uke all soft and smooth and its a bit shallow to just associate these feature towards a single gender as if there isnt actual men that look like this,if u want 'real men' go and read bara or manga that have author that draw their character more to your taste

Feminine men, androgeneuos men, transgendered etc yes. Men with boobs? Yes, I do like bara, and I also like shounen ai type stuff. It's a spectrum, not this or that. But, if you have eyes, you would know it's a bit extreme this time with this author (an author I like) and I have the right to politely state my opinion

huhh pretty boys are a thing that a lot of people enjoy, and there's no place to find them other than manga, stop being arrogant and thinking everything gotta please your standards. Skip to the next author with tastes more similar to yours, and stop whining. This author has always drawn beautiful ukes and that's what kept me reading her works, you don't have to.

why don't you follow your own advice and skip my comment and go to the next instead of winning. Not every comment should please you or your standard. And you don't owe the mangaka. I know many people will disagree, but there are people who agree with me or I wouldn't have any likes in the first place. And I'm amazed at the reasoning of you all- why would I bother wasting my time commenting on her work if I think it's bad and could simply skip it. Only coz I like her, I mentioned my thought. I didn't use bad language or anything for anyone to find fault with my personal opinion. If you think I'm wrong, state your opinion with reasons. Please stop telling people to shut up just coz something doesn't please you. There are so much oppression in this world without some girl trying a gay guy teach how it should be in a manga, one of a very few media that represent us (even if it is inaccurate most times).

I didn't want to get involved as I tend to get involved with most of your discussions. But I had to say this ;) I know BL was initially created for female audience but it all came a long way from it's original purpose. And there is no specific rule or law stating that yaoi or BL should stay in the shallow fantasy world targeting female audience. Everything evolves and changes with time. So I don't see why people keep insisting "It's just fiction", "If you want reality, go read something else" type of argument all the time. Even in fiction, it's ok to point out racism and sexism, but not ok to point out men with real boobs??? My personally tend to date is androgenous or feminine guys, but it oems't mean I can do it with a girl lol. Femininity and females are two different things. While it is most welcomed not to stereotype femininity as a women's thing, it is equally wrong to desexualize gay men. So I'm with you on this one. And we British complain ALL the time ...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I never think that any literature is made for a single person or a group of people. I think the problem is with today's society--most people can't take any comment, personal opinion, or constructive criticism. They act like they've never heard the word "literary criticism" or book review. Analyzing anything from a readers point of view is not protesting and definitely not asking everyone to agree with one's comments. One purpose, for me personally, is to share my thoughts with similar-minded people. And if you've seen the comment thread you'd realize that readers do enjoy sharing what they think, despite it being the unpopular opinion. I'm sorry it doesn't serve the purpose for everyone. And people have the freedom to laugh at my comments, or shrugg it off and move on. If not for sharing of ideas, why should mangago has these comment sections and questions thread.
