Thank you, I’ve been trying so hard to make a point of this that i had to use a legality argument to make it clear how preying on MINORS is a CRIME, pedophile by psychology definitely or not. It’s still a crime to intimidately be with someone who is not of legal age yet. Thank you. A thousand preaches to this post
I'd just like to remind people that 1.) He IS preying on Seunghee. He targets people who are troubled and isolated. I don't see what's not clear about that. He obviously knew Seunghee was a high schooler. He knew Seunghee was having a hard time. 2.) As I have already said, Seunghee is having a hard time with his life right now. He craves for someone to understand him, and the things is, blonde guy is doing his best to make it seem like he actually cares about Seunghee. However, let's look back at the first interaction between the blonde guy and Seungtaek. He HARASSED Seungtaek, thinking he was Seunghee. 3.) It doesn't matter if he actually develops feelings for Seunghee. If he actually DOES develop feelings for Seunghee, that doesn't excuse him from the fact that he got close to Seunghee because he was a HIGH SCHOOLER, he took advantage of Seunghee's circumstances, and he was grooming Seunghee. If he actually does have feelings, he should realise that what he did was wrong, and he should be punished. 4.) The blonde guy sent dick pics to a MIDDLE SCHOOLER. A MIDDLE SCHOOLER. That doesn't bother you????? 5.) Children and young adults are impressionable. Just look at Seunghee saying "What if I grow crazy when I become an adult? Will I become like that?" Your childhood experiences, as well as your experiences during your impressionable years greatly affect you. There are a lot of studies on that, so just go read them. Do you know there are even childhood rape victims who fall in love with their perpetrators because they think their perpetrators (who raped them when they were CHILDREN) actually love them? This is an adult (what? Is he like in his 30s or something) knowing full well how impressionable Seunghee is right now, and he's using that to his advantage. Please stop defending him.
Also, to the people who keep saying that fiction is different from reality, you can't actually separate whatever you do from reality. Fiction is a reflection of reality. Ideas in fiction are based on reality. It's one thing to find characters interesting and intriguing, but to actually defend the acts of those characters, even though you fully know they're wrong, just because this is a work of fiction? That just doesn't work. Also, I would have understood such reactions if this was more of a psychological manga, in which everything's twisted, and seeing and analysing messed up characters are actually understandable, but oh my god this manga is seriously a lighthearted manga. It's pretty close to reality.
My last point: there are a lot of children in this site. Please do think about what you post before posting.
