True, true, I can see now that he Is definetley protecting himself from getting hurt and denying Lihuans feelings and orientation as mistaken is part of that. I think the point I was trying to make (that didn't come across well lol) was that if he wasn't interested in him, he could have said so like that and got the message across, and turned him down like that, but he didn't, he made sure to make the point that Lihuans isn't gay and he's just confused, and said some mean things to protect himself--so there's hope that if Yuyang is able to open his heart to another person and take that risk and accept Lihuan's feelings (and orientation, and more feelings) towards him, then there's a chance for their relationship to happen (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
What he COULD have said to make sure he turned him down and got the message: "I'm not interested in you in that way, I can't see you romantically".
What he did say: "You're not gay, you're just confused."
Also: "I like someone else. NOT YOU".Yuyang could have turned him down normally, but instead he's choosing not to believe in his orientation or his feelings for him, and considering all he's gone through to make the world know understand and that he is openly gay -le sigh- smh
