Chiaki and Masaki never dated. In the raw, it mentioned that, but got lost in translation. Their so called dating is merely a blackmail.
Chiaki does not have friends because Masaki erased all his contact. After that, he dropped out of school because his father passed away. It was mentioned in earlier chapters. Then he continued his father shop.
where is it mentioned, and lost in translation? eg. in c2 too, chiaki says motokare when oniku asks abt their relationship. i reread the raws, but can't find that part - thanks for your help in advance!
I think that even if they didn't explicitly mentioned that in the raws, it was clear. He only did what Masaki asked of him in order not to bother his father.

It's like reading a fairy tale and it ends with "...and the princess married the prince, the end"
like, girl, are you not gonna tell me what's the proper backstory as to why Chiaki didn't have friends after Masaki? And why Chiaki left uni (was it because Masaki went and spread the photo?)? And what Chiaki and Masaki's beginning as a couple is? Like, girl, you introduced me to these characters, now I care about them and then abruptly end the story like that? It feels like sex without cuddles after the act. Lol.
