well, the first part of your theory doesnt make any sense considering it showed that bum just swiped some pills under the shelf rather than putting them back in the bottle. there is no "i think..." involved with that.
I think that that maybe happen, or becomes good again and normal, and happy end. I think this Koreda author going to maybe make us scared for what happen nexts, but in the end, everything fine and happy.
I pretty sure of bum having Christmas present for sangwoo that he try to hide, then Sangwoo get complicate feeling, and then either they make ups and become happy, or more complications.

At first I thought Bum gave Sangwoo the pill when they kissed, but then I thought that probably wouldn't work because wouldn't the pill have already been in effect when Bum put it in his own mouth?
Anyways, I think when Bum dropped the pills one slid under the washer. I think Sangwoo was just throwing up from anxiety tbh..
Sangwoo will probably end up putting Bum in the basement again bc of Bum's "plot to murder him" and probably interrogate Bum about where the pill is or how he planned on killing him, before ultimately killing Bum in some horrible way.
Then, years later, (maybe days or months later idk) when Sangwoo is moving out or cleaning up or something he'll find the pill he thought was gone, and feel remorse for killing Bum, and probably kill himself.
(Notice how I said "probably" and "I think" sooo many times, I don't know if this will happen in the future, it's just my theory)
