I don't think I find any instance of them referencing who Tooru's dad is. He just said the Katsuragi's took him in. Judging by how he refers to them as "the Katsuragis" I'm gonna say he's not biologically related to them in anyway, and Takara isn't his bio-cousin. That's what I think.

So, was Tooru adopted by his biological Uncle(Hajime's dad) or, was Hajime's dad just a family friend? So Tooru and Takara aren't bio cousins? Btw I loved the sensei story both of them were cute!
