Dear, "Princeso" is a slang, is a funny way to say "Prince" in Brasilian Portuguese
But yes, it have that connotation of "princess" but on masculine
Is not offensive in my country
I'm sorry if you get offended by that. I can understand the misunderstanding( ̄∇ ̄")

It comes off as saying he's a bit of a queen, effeminate, a spoiled princess a diva etc rather than just saying he's a prince or king.

    Look
Why effeminate have to be offensive ?Poc is an existence, so why deny it ?
The thing is, I don't think that Yu yang is affeminate or anything but I didn't say he is spoiled or a Diva
I'm just saying that he's worthy of worship like a PRINCE OR A PRINCESS.Not in a bad way
Again, " princeso" is a slang
Be cool men, I'm part of LGBTQ+ I'll never have any prejudice with young health love

Maybe it got lost in translation as equating a gay man to being a queen, or a spoiled princess and the other connotations those terms have, doesn't come off well. Calling a man princess, just because he's gay etc

Since you are NOT understanding my point here
With I've already explained to you 2 times
Just because you fucking put my phrase in the Google translation and "princeso" translate as a PRINCESS does not mean is RIGHT cuz I've already told you :princeso is a SLANG for PRINCE
I've already explained to you that I'm not phrasing that in a prejudice way. AGAIN: "princeso" is ,too, a way for WORSHIPING someone! Cuz in my culture prince just have the connotation of hero,strong-man who will save the damsel. So "princeso" gives us a connotation of a boy who can be WORSHIPEDand be SAVED
You understand that you are not understanding and being a bit machist?
    Let's end this here.
    Have a good day

Clouds, this is Brazil. The way we say things are more important than the contents of the message. People here don't usually get offended that easily. Plus, we have a strong point in our culture: we take offensive words and turn them into something positive that later will be used by the target group itself.
For example: "bicha" used to be a gay slur just like "faggot", but now even the LGBTQ+ community uses this as a means to identify each other.
Same goes to "criança viada" ("faggot kid" - a child that shows signs of being gay very early in life), it was later adopted by the gay community to indentify this group of kids in particular. Of course, when you are not part of the group, it might sound offensive, and it depends on the ways it is being said.

Fair enough, but this is an a Engish speaking website, and I'm sure most of us will have our own slang that would be misunderstood by a wider audience. Being unfamiliar with the term, the first description that popped up in search was "used to describe men who are feminine, vain, egotistical, temperamental and obnoxious, similar to the English slang usage of diva and queen", so not exactly a term of affection or positive.

Internet is a free space my boy
Mangago even have a system to show your country flag. So why why not speak in my country language?
    Stop with that egocentrism.
And, why not keep using the Google translate ?

I think you are missing the point. The comics on here are only translated into English, there are other websites and platforms that have a variety of translations in other languages, and discourse. We all "neutralise" our language here, in order for it to be understood by a wider audience. Expecting readers to google translate your comments, and using slang which might be interpreted as being inappropriate comes off as not ideal in the context.

I guess that when someone comments in their own language they are trying to speak to their countrymen only, and therefore, abiding to their common culture.
I don't even try to google translate all the comments in other languages, cause I know I'll hit a wall at some point. Everyone knows what's the lingua franca here. But we don't have a common culture to unite everyone. Plus, a lot of people feel way more comfortable talking in their own language. We chose MangaGo because if its huge library, that we usually don't have in our own language.
After all, we learn english to have access to more things, right?

    Haha
    Nem te estressa~
Aqui a galera é tudo de boas, mas como se trata de um site com muito material BL, às vezes o pessoal fica de "guarda" quanto a qq possível ofensa.
E nem dá pra culpar eles, né~ Público LGBTQ+ sempre foi alvo desse tipo de coisa.
E aprender chinês é assim mesmo, mas vamo que vamo

I just feel that some people are being too cautious about something potentially offensive, and they bare their fangs for any reason. I won't blame them, since LGBTQ+ people have always been a target themselves, and the survival instinct surely is strong.

Yeah, I get that. I just think its kind of funny when(in the past) both parties were apparently LGBT+ individuals. Not to mention that this certain individual has always been a debby downer about this comic. :-)

I Really understand the "survival instinct",I have it too haha
But I really think that Clouds are just... too extreme. And in some point he was just mocking me, which irritated me a little
But I'm ok now, Cappy helped me in this situation with better words ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
