I think it means that everything will not be the same, it will be better then now
he probly replied no to protect him as hes always been trying to do. if he says no maybe he felt that it could keep love from going back to fighting n that will keep him safe. maybe peach actually saw thru his personality the whole time judging by his subtle reactions thruout the story.
So when Love asked Peach something along the lines of 'if I learn how to fight, will things stay the same?" and Peach said no. wtf was up with that?? --like I get that everyone already knew about Love, so things wouldn't be the same in that sense, but why tf would Peach say that?? He would/should have comforted him more.
