(Spoilers ahead.)
1). Jiwook was pushing Siwon towards suicide. It might have been avoided without some adult (parent) intervention. However, Jiwook played the good kid and caring little brother in front of their parents and Siwon just couldn't tell their parents what had happened. It made him feel too shameful and pathetic. The only possible way Siwon's suicide could have been prevented was if he realized that Jiwook was his enemy before he got raped by Johoon's gang and then stopped caring about his twin.(Which seems kinda impossible given Siwon's personality at that time.) Aside from that, I don't think it could have been avoided.
2). Taemin said it the first day he went to school as Siwon. Siwon was completely alone. No one cared about Siwon. Siwoon and his friends became interested in Taemin, not Siwon.
3). If anyone spoke up for Siwon and tried to say that it was clearly a rape, that would be admitting that they watched that pornographic video and risking attracting the attention of the bullies. Siding with the bullies is always easier than sticking up for the victim, especially since no one truly cared about Siwon.
4). The only person Siwoon has ever truly cared about is Taemin. He probably should have emulated Taemin and reached out to Siwon, but after being physically and emotionally abused his whole life, he simply didn't care about anyone else.
5). I think the reason why Taemin said what he did to Jiwook at the end was to make him pay for what he did to Siwon. Taemin is empathetic, so he did care about what had happened to Siwon. I think he wanted to make sure that at least the main person behind Siwon's suicide paid for what he did.
My question is where is the compasion? Empathy? Anything? Could Siwons death really not be avoided? Why did people only start to care once Taemin became involved and why is nobody paying for this poor boys death?! Jiwook and Johoon plus all of the people who sat there being a bystander and did nothing? You're telling me there was no one in that damn school that thought maybe it was wrong to call somebody who was raped a slut? not to mention where tf was siwoon when all of this happened? could he not show empathy to a boy who clearly needed it as did taemin show empathy to him when he clearly needed it? why is everyone so damn heartless in this whole manhwa the only person who actually ever shows empathy is Taemin who by the way was the only person I could like throughout this whole series everyone else is trash and needs to learn how to be a human.
