A little confusing, indeed. Maybe it will be more explained later, like if they said something, we'll hear it, and that could clear some things up.
It appears the point of view of the characters changes each chapter; I think we'll get the full story once the POV changes to one of them (▰˘◡˘▰) aarrhh, my bois are so IN LOVE! ARGGHHHH! YAS!

That scene at the end of chapter 20? When did it happen? Aren’t they still awkward around each other in 19 or is the scene only implied and will be shown more later
