Well it is shounen-ai, so in a japanese manga wouldn't be a sex scene either. And to be honest I think sex scenes are sometimes really not needed especially when it is just a really cute and romantic story.
I mean if one wants to read a story with sex there are more than enough mangaka who draw such manga.

Komatta Toki Ni Wa Hoshi Ni Kike! would be my favourite bl of all time, not needing this, nor a lot of kissing scenes.
I think my curiosity is here, because Djuns art style is the best I've seen in a REALLY long time and I'd kinda would be interested in seeing, how he portrays something like that.
Tho, there are indeed shonen-ais with such scenes, they might not be detailed or particularly shown at all, but they are there :DD
Will we ever get to see some sex scenes between Lihuan and yuyang? Their first kiss scene got scensored in China, I think Djun would get in trouble for publishing some same sex scenes :o
