I feel like, if you really like her, then tell her outright when you two are alone then after that it's a series of trying to get her to trust you haha
I wouldn't probably give a good advice since I literally am the goody two shoes of the classroom and no one sees me as a threat.
But I think you should have a proper conversation and tell her that you genuinely want to be close to her. Hang out with her from time to time to show her that you're not a threat.
Or just blurt out to the whole classroom that you platonically like her as a friend.

OK so this might sound weird but I have a friend whom I like really much but she's not physically attractive at all and I'm kind of like a popular girl in my class ,but I really like that girl cuz she's a real nice person but I think she's hesitant when I talk to her cuz everyone stares at us like the difference between us is huge but I always try to be polite but I feel that she's still not cautious of me maybe she feels like I'm gonna troll her or something ,so how do I get her to talk to me without feeling pressured
