Wow I’ve never heard that phrasing before “the soup heated too often tasted of acid” really like that. Is that an Italian saying? I’ve never heard that one in the USA.
^_^ Yup, I changed it a bit, but it's a way of saying. In Italy if we don't put food in the middle, we aren't happy ;-)
I understand that for many authors, starting a story with a rape is the non plus ultra ... after all it is not a novelty that violence attracts a lot of curiosity, but if instead of riding this wave – minced meat and re-milled a hundred times – it wouldn't be bad idea. I don't despise the strong stories, but after a while, the soup heated too often tastes of acid.
