Um... They very well know geography. By Asian they mean "yellow skinned". As our skin tone is also found among Mediterranean as well as South Americans/ Native Americans. In history even they were called "Indians"... Does that mean they're Indians? Or Indians look like that? Take my region, we have so many "Asian" like people. (Actually they are called as "Chinese" by most people around me to describe their looks, thats so fucking UNJUST!!) But they dont mean to seclude us.
Well...@Anon i can tell the difference between a North Easterner of my country, a Nepalese, a Thai, a Taiwanese, and other South east Asian people from Easterners like Japanese, Chinese, Korean. I just can.
Hey awkward question. Is it normal not to be able to tell the difference between asians? I know it sounds like the stereotype all asians look the same. I’m Asian myself though. I opened the door today because I thought they were my mum’s friends. Turns out they were advertisers or something, my family hates that. I told my family I thought they were viet too but they just rolled their eyes at me.They seem kinda mad at me now?
