Hmm here’s what I got, I’m not sure if it’s gonna be helpful since I made these notes for my own reference. It’s easy to get confused because they have at least three names: Their given name, their common name (for other people to call them, and also a title.
Lan Zhan/Lan Wangji/Hanguang Jun - The main character (seme)
Wei Wuxian/Wei Ying - Main character (flute player)
The Jiangs: (Yunmeng Jiang sect)
Jiang Cheng - Wei Ying’s tsundere bro (purple guy)
Jiang Yanli - big sister
Jiang Fengmian - The one who adopted Wei Ying (Cheng and Yanli’s father)
Yu Ziyuan (strict wife of FengMian)
The Lans: (GusuLan sect/cloud recesses, the sect with too many rules)
Lan Huan/ Lan XiChen/Zewu Jun - Lan Zhan’s big brother
Lan SiZhui - Disciple (the more mature one, with side bangs)
Lan JingYi - The other disciple (less matured one)
Lan Quiren - the strict teacher with beard (uncle of Lan Zhan probably)
The Jins: (Lanling Jin sect, the golden clothed sect, wealthy)(I’m actually not so sure about the Jins so I’ll put what I know...)
Jin Zixuan - The arrogant guy Wei Ying punched in the face for insulting his elder sis
Jin Ling - Wei Ying’s nephew (and Jiang Cheng’s nephew too)
Mo XuanYu - The one who offered his body for Wei Ying to take over
The Wens: (QuishanWen Sect/The sun/Most powerful and also evil-but-not-all- sect)
Wen Ning - Ghost General/very sweet must protect!!!
Wen Ruohan - Bad wen leader
(I honestly forgot the other Wens sorry)
The Nies: (QingheNie Sect)
Nie Mingjue - Leader, Nie HuaiSang’s older brother
Nie Huaisang - The third guy who’s always with Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng back when they studied at Gusu. (Usually carries a fan)
