I completely agree. Even though I know that YuYang is just trying to protect himself from future dissappointment, it really bothered me how he tried to define and minimize LiHuan's feelings. It was very condescending how he thought he knew LiHuan's heart even better than himself.
Yes, I understand what you mean. Your comment is absolutely valid. It's not that I think Yuyang is disowning Lihuan because Yuyang is gay himself and it would be strange for him to disown Lihuan for wanting to be gay (if Lihuan wishes to identify as such), but I just feel like even if you want to protect someone you should let that person know and allow them to tell you that they WANT to be protected in the way that is respected and comfortable for both parties, y'know? :)
Uh huh; it's a defense mechanism that a lot of us may not notice for ourselves. I admit to feeling this way or doing something along that line of what Yuyang is doing but I've come to notice it and it's a working process in it's own way for a lot of us. Feelings/emotions are complicated and they are simple. Sometimes we try so hard to define our own and/or define others, it's just one of the aspects of being human. :) Or in this case, being a character of a cute and fluffy manhua. xD

Yes, that's very true! I still love YuYang and LiHuan to bits and pieces! I can't wait for them to have a heart-to-heart and let the cute romance begin. ^_^

Umh, it might just be me but I was annoyed by Yuyang's actions and words towards Lihuan in this chapter. Like, I understand, believe me I do, that he's scared of being hurt, lied to, cheated, and led on by Lihuan (even though Lihuan would NEVER do such a thing) but it was VERY hypocritical of him to tell Lihuan that what he's feeling is confusion and that he's not gay. For one, Yuyang didn't appreciate it when his family and former friends from home disowned his sexuality and made him feel less of a person who was just CONFUSED or corrupted so why is he doing the same to Lihuan? Okay, he may not feel like Lihuan likes him but don't tell him how he should feel or label him and define his sexuality for him. Why can't it cross his mind that Lihuan can like him and NOT self-identify as gay??? I don't know. It just bothered me how he was ignoring his efforts and trying to pressure him to think what he's feeling was wrong when he knows damn well that when he was chasing the other guy, what he felt was real and it SUCKED to be indirectly rejected by him. However, like I said before, I deeply understand why. Gawd, you get so hurt to the point that you become oblivious to genuine kindness and love and all you can think to do is to prove them wrong or shut them out. :( I love you Yuyang and Lihuan and I hope you two are able to have a sitdown and talk out your feelings respectfully.
