A feminist is someone who believes in equality in men and women. Like feminist protest because men get paid more than women. But lately feminist have been wanting women superiority.

I mostly agree with the above definition except for the wording of the last part. I think it’s more correct to say people who call for female superiority under the banner of feminism are perverting the movement and by definition are not actual feminists.

According to me, a feminist is someone who wants women to have equal rights as men. They believe that women should be treated the same way men are and deserve equal opportunities. Although feminism focuses more on women's upliftment, it doesn't want to oppress men. (unlike the third wave feminists these days)
A feminist is someone who takes action to stop sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression.
As you can see, every commenter offers a slightly different definition. This is because feminism is a political word, with no fixed meaning. The fight for its meaning is part of its existence.
Many great feminists find the idea of "equality" disturbing, since it offers little more than assimilationism, trying to make women adopt the shitty features of masculinity. Personally I prefer to think of it as freedom from gender norms and social regulation through those norms.
