To be honest, the way I view this story would be so different depending on how old I am when reading it.
-A younger version of me would say "fuck Alex's dickish ways and also DG's lack of self respect and dignity"...
-An older version of me would say "Alex should suffer seeing DG moving on but they should get bak together after he repented and sinerely asked for a second chance"
-Me right now I just think "They aren't good for one another. Even if Alex wants to pursue an honest and true relationship with DG, it doesn't feel right. Alex seeks approval from others and that's why he does his "shows". It's not like he lacks money or anything. DG is very insecure himself so I doubt he'll be able to provide someone else with a sense of security if he himself doesn't have that. And vice versa, Alex isn't good for shy insecure DG. Even if they both reach an understanding in which Alex quits his "side job" and they start a monogamous relationship, I don't see that lasting or being healthy. They simply aren't good for one another regardless of their past and how muh Alex hurt DG."
I don't really see it this way at all. All dg has done is been naive, which is understandable since he pdoesn't have much experience and is gullible. You can't fault someone for that cause they have to learn first. But jiwon? yeah he's had a bad childhood, yeah he had his heart broken, these aren't uncommon things. of course a person can turn out fucked up because of it, but nothing excuses actions like jiwon's. he has lied, manipulated, used, extorted and been an absolute dick to dg, all the while knowing he had feelings for him. you don't do shit like that. he should know after having it done to himself when he was younger! meanwhile, dg never did anything to hurt jiwon, ever, except for the ONE time he fucked up, got drunk, and interrupted his stream. and i get that was his career or something, but i honestly don't see how that measures up to the continual emotional abuse from jiwon's part. your past doesn't define you, but your actions do. people with bad lives can still end up wonderful people, and jiwon chose to take another route.
Let's be honest: if we're looking for a reason to criticize Jiwoon (Alex) or DG, we'll find it for both. They both were in the fault for all the shit that happened up until now. Jiwoon had a tragic life with his family, but he still is a dick, and I don't like him. DG has been too clingy, and annoying, and he diged his own grave, because he knew how Alex was (and for all this, I wanted to slap him really bad). But, for me, I wish I could skip two months or three. That way, this history can have his way and I can see they been lovey-dovey.
