He didn't spoiled anything. Just stating what he assumed. So there's no way you'd be spoiled if you know that this is just an assumption

By the way, most people add a spoiler warning or make the test so long that you need to click pn the "+" before reading anything you don't want to know. If it's missing it's most likely just a speculation or an accident in some cases :)
