I mean, it really gets super annoying when so many commenters on here seem to think their naive views of the world are realistic but complain about others not being able to separate fiction from reality. ...How does that even work?
Indeed. The premis is Taeyoung and Min-ki are filming the type of usual cliche yaoi drivel, but their real lives are anything like this as to be expected. It's not a horrid "rape to love" or blushing "ukes" at high school trope , but men and women who have more realistic struggles to the pressures of their industry, and as you explained holding onto a relationship that's gone sour. Also, are people that naive to the "rumours" in their industry, be it nepotism, sponsorship/prostitution and then having to present this manufactured image? Obviously this doesn't affect everyone, but the author is choosing to use such topics as themes.

Go for it. This isn't the first story I've wanted to say it about either.
Everyone is trash talking the author like decent people don't walk on egg shells for shitty people in real life. News flash just because you don't like the plot doesn't mean stuff like this doesn't happen. The author is being real rather than dancing arround your apparently fragile emotions. So rather than complaining, maybe just move on to a different manga. Because sometimes people just want to believe that the people they love are good people and love them back, even when they don't. They will give them chance after chance in hopes that they will Chang even though they don't, to the point that it may even wear them down, cause them to lose trust, or just make them feel like they don't have anyone else. It happens. Stop hating on the author because they're being real, and apreciate the bigger picture that is to come. Every good story has to have a bit of tragedy. This one's just a little different.
