Some yaoi characters have normal sexual preferences, not the distorted yaoi stereotypes. In real life, most males who have sex with other males enjoy being both the seme and the uke. Just because a guy wants to switch doesn't mean it was all a lie. If he's loving being the uke, orgasmed dozens of times, and said it was incredibly satisfying, obviously he wasn't just pretending to like it until he could "trick" his partner into switching! He just wanted to be the seme too and experience everything with that person.
