My mom is like that too.
I'm not the schools best but if I have a good grade, she's always like:"Fuck off!, how could you fail two questions?" Instead of "you did your best"

Seriously, why parents are always so messed up in mangas? Like, even if I was an honours student since elementary school my mom always told me that "just giving my best" was enough. And that is why I did so well, I felt supported and loved no matter my grades. I don´t think it is so difficult to be a good parent (〜￣△￣)〜
