When everyone said to skip chapter 15, I expect it to be extremely sad and depressing. But honestly, when you think about it a bit differently, it was also a happy ending. Now they can be together forever in afterlife (heaven etc) The phone calls were an experience which made them let go of their regrets and find out the truth.
