"The Mirror Visitor, A Winter's Promise". Ever heard of it? It's a french novel (ongoing w/ 3 volumes, 4th one will be the last) and the first volume was translated in english :) It's really really good! Honnestly, it's probably my favorite book ever!

I am also quite the fan of fantasy novels and will read any that come my way, some that I really like are:
-The Defy novels (good but not amazing)
-A court of thorns and roses novels(I liked this a lot)
-The daughter of smoke and bone trilogy(this was odd at first, but then really good)
-The Gregor the overlander series (this one is for audiences a bit younger, yet it is still one of my faves)
-The city of bones series (well known series, very complicated relationships between people)
-The graceling novels (has three somewhat related but not directly in a series novels, really liked the first book)
-The Cinder series (this is a bit more Sci-fi)
    - The ash princess novels (the first one just came out this year and the series is ongoing)
-The splintered series (written as a dark and mature sequel to Alice in wonderland)
-Strange The dreamer (by the same author as the third series I mentioned)
    - Zeroes series (also for younger audiences and not amazing, but still good)
-snow like ashes series(the interactions felt real in this)
    - The kiss of deception series (I really liked this one too)
-The novels of the nine kingdoms (for adult but fun and easy to read)
-The red queen series ( infuriating at times, but it is worth it)
    - The grisha trilogy (there is also a side series duet that is good)
    - dreadnought (by April Daniels has a transgender superhero main character)
    - mask of shadows ( has a gender-fluid main character)
The darkest part of the forest (this book is a fantasy novel, but it reads like a realistic fiction drama novel)

Ok so this I a really long list already so I’ll stop here, but trust me when I say it’s hard to stop and I have plenty more books that I recommend if you want to know them. These are all fantasy because that is the only thing I am willing to read. I am curious about what you have read though, can you please give me a few recommendations also? Or maybe just a list of what you have read?

List of gay fantasy YA books ive read in an order of my favourite to least favourite

    - "Song of Achilles" Madeline Miller
    - "Half Bad" Sally Green
    - "A gentleman's guide to vice and virtue"
    - "Six of Crows"
    - "Carry on" Rainbow Rowell
    - "H.E.R.O" Perry Moore
    - "Proxy" Alex London

Gay fantasy YA books are not the only fantasy books I read but I do find them really hard to come by and some on this list are really good. Also in six of crows proxy and half bad the main characters gayness is mostly just a side plot kinda thing
