Haebom grew up with Taesung’s mom and I don’t know if he has met the dad. He’s aware that Taesung’s parents are divorced. Besides, the dad is the one who helped to pay for the house they are living in together.
As to what Haebom is thinking, he just never knew that Taesung and his mom had a bad relationship. He just assumed that they just don’t talk together as much. So when Taesung slowly revealed his past scars and insecurities, he decided to be by Taesung’s side a bit more to support him.
