The author labelled him as straight, instead of bisexual, hence the accusations of biphobia
Ok no need to come up with tumblr words to describe sexuality. Nobody needs stupid vocab to understand that some people like others AFTER they've known them. It not magic. AND nobody needs the word pansexual either; people fall in love with people PERIOD You guys dont want to be labeled yet label every single category within a category.

'He likes him for him regardless of his gender", mate that makes him bisexual, calling him tumblr trends like demisexual or pansexual doesn't change this, and if the author doesn't even account for bisexuality how the hell are they going to be aware of some modern tumblr trend that people who are generally still kids use.
Read the Q&A whatever chapter that was on. The author also used a homophobic slur.
Idkwhy you're directing this comment towards me as I'm not the one who decided to use those tumblr words to describe his sexuality
- There is also the context of authors using the homophobic/biphobic trope of "You are the only man I've loved therefore I'm still straight". The author is promoting the view that sexuality is a choice, which in the country of origin has led to people being abused by gay conversion therapy or marrying people of the opposite sex to try and be straight. Or in the case of this webtoon for a specific example, Yuyang's orientation isn't respected by his female friend, who tries to hit on him. These are just tropes that wouldn't cut it in more progressive countries media and society. Lihaun should have been defined as bisexual if the author didn't want to label him as gay, not straight.
Chapter 45.5. The author promotes homophobia by using the slur "bent", calling Yuyang "wife" simply because he is presumed to be the bottom rather than saying husband, as two men being husbands shock horror, they also said Lihaun was straight, and showed that if he never met Yuyang he would be married to a woman by age 28. Read the actual webtoon yourself instead of posting the same question over and over again.
Stop throwing around the words homophobic/biphobic like its halloween candy. Honestly maybe a handful of people think deeply like you that the author is "promoting" that sexuality is a choice, which isnt really directly harmful except when it comes to gay conversion therapy but in today's world, MOST wouldn't do that and even if they do, a few words in a comic isnt going to change it. Change is only going to happen in a very slow pace within a society.
That still doesn't point out how its biphobic
BTW majority of the population in the whole world is straight. You didn't think that was a coincidence right? It makes sense biologically and evolutionary wise. Just because the author wrote things like "wife" or he would marry a girl isn't fucking bi or homophobic. So the author is to blame cuz he named his character straight...HIS character and used some words jokingly or with no harm
You don't call your man "wife" just because you can't deal with husband & husband.
Correct me if i'm wrong but I think you're referring to this chapter and this page: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/here_u_are/uu/d_v-1-chapter-45.5/pg-6/
where does it say that he's straight ????? if I have the wrong chapter please look for it and tell me instead of spreading rumors
Tell the fucking author that, seeing as they never labelled him bisexual, they labelled him straight dear.
OR we just don't have accounts and never bothered to make one? HMMM never thought of that
Hoo boy so the comments have blown up about LiHuan saying he's not gay, so I just wanted to add my own two cents. I personally think LiHuan is demi-pansexual; you don't have to be gay to like someone of the same gender. LiHuan is also still very new to the whole liking someone thing. Djun's made it very clear that LiHuan has never really had friends, let alone someone he could develop a crush on, and if he really is demi, that makes even more sense, since he never had a connection strong enough with someone for those feelings to develop until now with YuYang. I think people also need to realise that we still have at least a good 40 chapters to go before the story finishes; Djun might chose to give LiHuan a label yet, we don't know. I wasn't surprised that LiHuan said he wasn't gay. He's never thought about things like that before; he's never been in a situation where he's had to think about them and, figuring out your sexuality doesn't usually happen overnight (or at least that's how it was for me personally), so I feel like it would have been more unrealistic if LiHuan started to work out that he was falling for YuYang and then suddenly went "yep, i'm gay" and was totally cool with it. And even if LiHuan never gets a label, does it really matter? Some people don't like sexuality labels, and they just like certain people or certain genders because that's what they like, and I think that would make sense for LiHuan's very earnest and straightforward character. And for the people complaining about the 'already-bent straight' comment in the little extra, character-introduction chapter we got a little while back, Djun likes to joke around and I can understand why that's got people annoyed but I think you're taking it a little too seriously. I think you also need to consider that straight is often considered a kind of default for sexuality I guess, and until someone comes out, they are more often than not considered to be straight, and while I think this is wrong as well that's just how things have been up until this point in the world, but hopefully that mindset is beginning to change
