Violence causes violence. I do think the mother is wrong for doing that but she might've just felt very cornered. It is still very wrong tho.

As someone else mentioned Choi Ara isn't his mother, she was a childhood friend of the guy Giju is with, her revenge could be for random multiple reasons but i had a feeling it was something to do with the motorcycle crash her friend was in when they were teens?
yeah i guess i was mistaken - cause i missed the part mentioning her name, but if we're talking about the actress, didnt the guy (the blonde one - from the accident u mentioned) took her form that old guy, so maybe this part was a follow up to that, and that's where they end up together in bed. well whatever i'm relieved that isn't not the poor small child that's eating her out - cause that kinda depressed me.
