I actually never thought anything bad about Ming Qi's mom, not even looking at her as someone selfish. Mom was like this when I had to left home, and still cries a bit if we talk about it. So I saw Ming Qi's mother as someone who was trying to get back all they lost, with that heartbreaking eyes that were shown only when no one's was looking at her. I know she appeared from nowhere like 'I want my son back' and Ming Qi's still not ready to accept it and fully listen to her, but let's stop and think how hard it was for her as a wife, as a mother and as a human being to go through all of that.
