DG broke his own heart by taking things too seriously after agreeing to everything condition Jiwon clearly set for them to be sex partners.
People don't understand that DG is an adult and he mostly has his self to blame for suffering because he wasn't honest with Jiwon from the start while he had plenty of opportunities to do so.
Also he was the one who decided to stay and tolerate everything.
