Controversial opinion, but it seemed like they should have just split up at the start. They are in a very new relationship, yet going to a therapist because they weren't having any sex/affectionate contact or even communicating. That says to an outsider that it's not meant to be, the relationship wasn't being worked on by both of them, but only the dancer. Also, they already live together and it seemed a bit unfair that blondie kept on inviting everyone back to their house, almost as a way to prevent him from addressing the communication issues with his supposed partner.
I actually kind of agree with you ;) .
I think Lauren wanted to save their relationship too but in the end it was always Chip who really did something and now and it seems like even he gave up.
Besides, I was also skeptical when they started the therapy shortly after they'd started their relationship.
However, I still hoped they could work things out but now I'm not sure anymore :/ . Maybe it would've been better if they had ended their relationship at the start.
Is there anybody who reads Sexless? I just read the latest chapter and *Spoilers*

Chip really has an affair (⊙…⊙ ) ! At this point I honestly don't know if it's a good idea to continue this relationship.
At first I I definitely wanted them to solve their problems and end up together but seeing how their efforts to fix their relationship have been in vain so far I can't help but wonder if it's really a good idea to go on.
Lauren isn't ready to live in a gay relationship and constantly hurts Chip with his behavior and because Chip can't handle it he cheats on him and lies to him.
I just don't see a way for them to be happy together.
